Q1.Where is the B M Birla Science Centre located and how do we reach it?
The B M Birla Science Centre is located in Adarsh Nagar very near the Birla Temple. This is in the heart of the city and you can reach our location easily by bus, cab, auto and metro train.
Q2.What are the different constituents of the B M Birla Science Centre?
In the B M Birla Science Centre we have the Planetarium, Science Museum, Dinosaurium, Space Museum, Archaeology & Dolls Museum, Nirmala Birla Gallery of Modern Art, G P Birla Library, Study Hall, Observatory and so on.
Q3.Can we see the constituents individually or all together?
Yes, you can see all these individually or also together. You have separate tickets for each of these or combined tickets from which you could choose.
Q4.Is Wheel Chair facility available at the Centre?
Yes, anyone with difficulty could request at the reception counter in the Science Museum and they would assist you.
Q5.Are there any discounts for students?
Yes, we have special school packages where we give discounts for school groups of 50 or more students.
Q6.Do you have canteen in your Centre where we could buy food?
Yes, we have a canteen near the parking area and also near the Planetarium where snacks like chips, biscuits, tea, coffee, ice cream, cool drinks etc. are available.
Q7.Is there space where students could sit and eat?
Yes, we have lot of open space where students and others could get their own food and eat but eatables are not allowed inside the Planetarium and 3D show.
Q8.Is parking area available for school buses inside the premises?
Yes, we do have parking space inside our premises where small buses can be allowed but the bigger buses cannot climb the steep in which case the visitors/students would have to walk to our Centre which is not very far.
